Sri Lanka will look to redeem their lost pride when they take on Hong Kong in their AHF Women’s Junior Hockey Tournament fourth fixture in Singapore tomorrow (14).
The Lankans have gone through a bad patch having already suffered three successive defeats at the hands of Chinese Taipei (0-6), Bangladesh (0-2) and Singapore (1-10) respectively.
But this time Sri Lanka seem to have a better chance of pulling off the game as Hong Kong have also struggled to make an impact having lost to Uzbekistan and Chinese Taipei while recording their solitary win against Bangladesh.
Even then, Sri Lanka have looked completely out of form throughout this tournament having already conceded as many as 18 goals to their opponents from three outings while scoring just a solitary goal.
The Sri Lankan Women had another workout today under the supervision of Head Coach Milan Boteju and are confident of ending their losing streak.
