An unbroken 53-run partnership between Rohan Sanjaya and Ashain Daniel was in vain as Skipper Rohail Nazir and Haider Ali cracked half centuries to help the touring Pakistan Under-19 record a thrilling three-wicket win with one ball to spare over Sri Lanka Under-19 in the second Youth ODI played at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium in Hambantota yesterday.
Pakistan Under-19 in quest of a modest target of 221 runs were guided by Skipper Nazir who led from the front with a fine knock of 87. He was also associated in two fruitful partnerships.
