Middle order batsman Chamara Kapugedara has retired from all forms of cricket having represented Sri Lanka in 102 ODIs and 43 T20I matches.

The stylish right-handed batsman made his ODI debut in 2006 as a highly talented 19-year-old most notably smashing one of the best fast bowlers at the time Brett Lee for mighty 6s.

Despite showing glimpse of his brilliance every now and then, the 32-year-old failed to establish himself as a regular member in the side amid scoring over 2500 runs across all formats.
