Kandy Sports Club produced a superb second half rally to beat Police Sports Club 40-24 in their Dialog Inter-Club League Rugby Tournament second-round final fixture worked off at the Nittawela Stadium in Kandy yesterday.

The winners collected their points from six tries and five conversions while Police SC responded with three tries, three conversions and one penalty.

Even then, the defending champions were under pressure in the beginning as they managed to build up a slender 19-17 lead at half time.

However, the home side came into their own during the second half with an improved performance and went on to add the finishing touches in style.
