The Dialog National Netball Tournament sponsored by Dialog Axiata PLC for the second successive year will be worked off from December 14 and 15 at the Anuradhapura Public Grounds and North Central Province Sports Complex.

This is a major tournament conducted by Netball Federation of Sri Lanka (NFSL) annually, to identify talented players, coaches and umpires to train them to the next level.

Meanwhile, the Dialog Junior National Netball Championship 2019 will be held from November 30 to December 2 at the Torrington Grounds in Colombo 7.

This event has been organised to develop the Talent Pool to feed the National Squad in the future.

Netball players who are below the age of 21 years from across the country will participate at the junior tourney.

These details were revealed by Lakshmi Victoria, President, NFSL during a media briefing held at the Galadari Hotel in Colombo today (26).

The preliminary round of the junior tourneys will be played in a league structure with 20 minutes per game, split into two halves which will narrow down the 36 teams to 16, while round two onwards the tourney will be played on a knock-out basis.

The third place matches and the finals will be played with 40 minutes per game split into four segments.
