The 32nd Rupavahini Volleyball Finals organised by the National Youth Service Council (NYSC) will take place on September 22 from 8am to 6 pm at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, Colombo.
The tournament will be held in two categories: Super League (men and women) Challenge Trophy (men and women)
Eight leading men’s and women’s team participated in the Super League tournament in which Sri Lanka Army and Sri Lanka Air Force have qualified for the men’s Super League finals and Casual Line Sports Club, Mawathagama and Sri Lanka Army, qualified for the finals of the women’s Super League.
Ruwanwella Youth Sports Club and Thalagamwaduwa Ekanuthu Youth Sports Club qualified for the finals of the men’s Challenge Trophy and Boyagama Siri Parakum Youth Club and Puttalam Ratanapala Youth Club qualified for the finals of the women’s Challenge Trophy.
The cash awards will be as follows:
Super League (men and women):
Champions – Rs 100,000
Runners-up – Rs 75,000
Third Place – Rs 50,000
Fourth Place – Rs 25,000
Best Player – Rs 25,000
Challenge Trophy (men and women):
Champions – Rs 50,000
Runners-up – Rs 30,000
Third Place – Rs 20,000
Fourth Place – Rs 10,000
Best Player – Rs 15,000
