Asian Alliance Insurance holds 13th Annual Life Sales Convention

The 13th Annual Life Sales Convention of Asian Alliance Insurance – Quality Awards 2014 – was held recently under the theme ‘Tradition of Excellence’ at Eagle’s Lakeside, Ratmalana on a high note.

This glamorous forum recognizes the determined, unwavering efforts and remarkable skills of the Asian Alliance sales team t hat bears the baton of continuing the tradition of excellence within the company and in the industry.Asian Alliance Chairman Ashok Pathirage, Managing Director Iftikar Ahamed and Director/CEO Ramal Jasinghe graced the occasion whilst the executive committee members and senior management were present to applaud the true spirit of their professional sales force.

Launching t he awards ceremony with his special message, Chief Operating Officer Life Chula Hettiarachchi enlightened the audience on the journey of Asian Alliance Life, which has bravely surpassed the giants and become the fastest growing insurer in the country within just 13 years. He also positioned the theme of this year’s event ‘Tradition of Excellence’ with the audience. Director/CEO Ramal Jasinghe stated that the company is surging forward as a member of the diversified Softlogic group, which will result in new dimensions to the insurance solutions provided by Asian Alliance to its clientele.

Addressing the gathering, Executive Director Iftikar Ahamed commended the performance of the energetic team of professionals whilst encouraging them to go beyond the traditional frameworks and introduce new benchmarks to the industry for others to follow.

The performance of each and every individual in the sales team was perfectly measured on three key elements, namely, quantity, quality and consistency, endorsing the continuously improving productivity standards of Asian Alliance Life and the soundness of the company’s unique selling process that outclass the team from competition.

G.M. Lahiru Maduranga from the Nugegoda Zonal Office bagged t he most prestigious awards of the year, namely the Most Valuable Sales Person and the Best Performer of the Year awards. M.A.T.D. Jeewantha (Panadura) and Dilan Yapa ( Colombo) claimed the runner-up awards, respectively.

Provincial Sales Manager Colombo Susil Atapattu was awarded the Best Regional Distribution Manager award while Zonal Manager Nugegoda Upul Jayasekara and Zonal Manager Battaramulla Mahinda Perera together claimed the first and second runner-up awards, respectively.

Nisal Govinnage (Nugegoda) was awarded as the Best Field Manager of the Year whilst Sambuge Prashantha ( Kottawa) claimed the runner-up award. Nissanka Deshapriya (Kiribathgoda) was awarded the Best Territorial Manager Award and B.G. Lalith Shantha (Galle) won t he runner-up award
