Marina Square – Uptown Colombo enters partnership with the Bar Association of Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka’s first and largest harbour front development project Marina Square -Uptown Colombo, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bar Association of Sri Lanka, thus becoming the association’s official real estate partner for 2019/2020.The MoU will allow Marina Square to support the Bar Association in the achievement of their objectives and to promote the project’s urban luxury condos among the legal fraternity of Sri Lanka. 

Addressing the gathering Mr. Kaushalya Nawaratne, Secretary of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka said “The Bar Association of Sri Lanka is looking forward to its partnership with Marina Square Colombo and is assured that it will be a mutually beneficial engagement. Marina Square Colombo will be the Official Real Estate Partner of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka for the year 2019/2020. This proud collaboration is a result of like-minded professionals seeking to be partakers in the development of our country. Marina Square Colombo has graciously extended its support to the National Law Conference, Junior National Law Conference and Provincial Law Conferences organized by the Bar Association of Sri Lanka for the above period and through this the legal profession will be able to reap great benefits. The junior members of the Bar will be the greatest beneficiaries because they will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience from highly respected senior members of the profession at the Junior National Law Conference. The Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL), which is the supreme body of attorneys-at-law in Sri Lanka was established in year 1974 and has played a key role in the administration of justice ever since. The BASL, which currently holds over 20,000 memberships from all around the country, serves as the federation of 87 branch associations operating island wide affiliated to the regional courts.
