United National Party (UNP) today charged that corrupt investors backed by the present United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) Government have already obtained permanent residency in Saint Kitts and Nevis islands in the Caribbean Sea to avoid being penalized under a National Unity Government.
UNP Parliamentarian and economist Harsha De Silva told a news conference at the Opposition Leader’s Office in Colombo that they would not allow corrupt investors and businessmen to leave the country and vowed to take legal action against them. (Lahiru Pothmulla)
