The Nations Corporate Rally is expected to flag off at the Nations Trust Bank office premises at Nawam Mawatha with over 50 teams competing. It will be run entirely on roads open to normal traffic according to TSD (Time, Speed and Distance) format with route instructions communicated through a specially designed mobile app, which will guide the teams providing the route and tasks from the point of flag off. The checkered will be at Jetwing Blue, Negombo.
Commenting on the event, Deputy General Manager Commercial Banking Ramanika Unamboowe stated, “The response for participation was overwhelming and we are all very excited that some of Sri Lanka’s top corporates will compete in this first-ever rally to be run digitally, using a mobile app. I am sure that the participants will have a lot of fun finding their way to the destination.”
Nations Trust Bank PLC is one of the fastest growing banks in Sri Lanka today. Its market positioning of being the benchmark of customer convenience, is ably supported by a host of financial products and services offered to a wide range of customers. The bank now operates 88 branches islandwide, an ATM network of 120 locations and is the sole acquirer and issuer for American Express credit cards in Sri Lanka.
