Emirates special fares from Colombo to 46 cities in Europe, USA

Emirates, a global connector of people and places announced a series of special fares that make travel from Sri Lanka to 46 destinations in Europe and USA significantly more affordable.Covering the 37 European and nine US cities served by the award-winning airline, the fares for Economy Class as well as Business Class travel, will be available for sale until 4th December only, but can be utilised for travel between 5th December 2014 and end March 2015.

 


They start from Rs 89,614 inclusive of taxes and surcharges on Economy Class to Italy (Rome or Milan), and represent substantial savings on current fares.
To the UK for example, the special all-inclusive Economy Class return fares start at Rs 107,861. Emirates flies to five cities in the UK – London (served by flights to both Heathrow and Gatwick), Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Newcastle.Special return fares to the USA are priced from Rs 136,273. Emirates’ US network comprises of New York, Seattle, Washington DC, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago and Dallas.

Emirates passengers enjoy a generous baggage allowance of 30kg in Economy Class, 40kg in Business Class and 50kg in First Class, gourmet-chef prepared multi-course meals, dedicated children’s menus and activities and ice, the airline’s award winning entertainment system, which offers up to 1,800 channels of on-demand entertainment. The airline employs cabin crew from over 130 countries, ensuring that every flight has a multilingual crew for the convenience of passengers. Emirates also employes over 150 Sri Lankan crew.

 


Travel with Emirates also earns passengers Skywards Miles on the airline’s award-winning frequent flyer programme. Accrued Skywards Miles can be redeemed for free tickets, travel upgrades or other benefits.

 

 

Emirates has been connecting Sri Lanka to the world since April 1986.The airline currently operates 34 flights a week from Colombo 27 flights westward to the Maldives and Dubai and a daily flight eastwards to Singapore, offering convenient connections to the Emirates global network of 147 destinations in 84 countries and territories, including cargo-only services.
