The article is timely and honest assessment of the country today. However, let me caution that our people will still vote in favour of the past regime to be in power if elections are held today despite the allegations of massive frauds committed by them. The people are narrow minded and only think of victory against LTTE. I hope that the tragic events of the past will not come to haunt us again.
