Multiple killings was /is a JVP expertise. They do not heed parents, teachers or clergy.
Suicide is an LTTE expertise too.
No one is to blame except parents, clergy, teachers and polioticians who preach violence. And the JVP that practices it at home, in the villages, in schools,in the unions and the varsities
Face it. The people of SL revel in violence, bulllying, extortion, greed, hypocrisy and fraud

Violence is not the answer to resolve disputes. But what has the adults shown to the young ones?School heads use verbal and physical violence to discipline students. Parents often use violence to discipline children.Politicians adopt violent methods to win Elections. The LTTE, The JVP and the State used extreme violence to b this trend as all Religions have failed to arrest the trend.conflicts.The Media serialised the war like showing teledramas.Teledramas are full of violent scenes. Domestic violence is endemic. So much so Children think violence is something natural. Right thinking people like this writer must getogether and force the Govt to take the initiative to curb violence

Gossip, Intolerence, Readiness to believe the worst of people, not understanding and not practising the basic tenets of the Buddha's Teaching; These are some of the factors that lead to Crime. Buddhist Monks do not stress enough, the actual practice of the 5 Precepts, and people just repeat them like parrots, without thinking about what they mean. Some people will not break an egg or eat meat, thinking they are practising the 1st precept, but will kill or slander another human being, in anger, without once thinking about the precepts.. It is upto the Buddhist clergy to educate people on the practise of true Buddhism, and not just give lipservice and ritual to this great Teaching..
