Death of a worker

The other day, a partially decomposed body, supposed to be of an octogenarian, was discovered by a beggar inside a culvert on a city road in the metropolitan capital of Sri Lanka. The corpse had been clogged inside the narrow culvert due to rapid influx of flood waters caused by torrential rain and the non-clearance of city trash. The beggar had duly informed the relevant authorities as he was a man about the town and also a member of the same milieu. Lo and behold, the deceased had been a worker throughout his life, further investigations had shown.   

It was reported that the man had been born in 1930 when the country was becoming redder and redder and had got into the reddish bandwagon at the age of 18. The forensic experts have reported that his blood had been bursting with energy and resulted in being hand in glove with radical politicos of the era. It had been the circumstances for him to be coerced by eyewash politics shouting ‘DOWN WITH CAPITALISM! LONG LIVE THE PROLETARIAT REVOLUTION!’

  
At the inquest, they had found that his brain had been badly washed with an in-erasable liquid of foreign theorem to go automatically against the land-owning rich people. Ironically, they had found some physical hurt to his heart, where his effective domain was, with a blunt key shape instrument. In other words, his brain cells that count for cognitive development and his young heart that generated kind feelings had been irreparably damaged, the medical opinion further states.   
The only reliable source that the journalists have to depend on is the final report of the postmortem examination. Another sub clause of the same report bears ample testimony to another terrible endurance by the deceased. An elephant has trampled him on the belly around the age of 22 on a macadamized road in a city environment. His excreta had come out but not a single morsel of food had been found in the stomach. The circumstantial evidence was found to prove that he had been in starvation, yet had marched a long distance in an ear-splitting public protest. He had been red-clad and had survived because of the extraordinary cognitive development due to the constant injection of the theory and practice of MARXST LENNISM.   

Again after a lapse of years, a heavy cart wheel had run over the man but had survived to the utter surprise of the forensic experts. With the cart wheel injuries, yet to be recovered, this worker had taken part in a series of jubilant celebrations with repleting patriotism. The sinewy muscles of the heart and the palpitation evidence drive home the idea that he had been a full-blooded patriot who had contributed his share to safeguard the national assets. The patterns of perspiration on his body had been peculiar due to his blood group. Around the age of 35 his windpipe had been pulverized due to excessive slogan shouting to win some demands from his own masters on behalf of his comrades. The medical experts have performed an eight hour operation to repair his pulverized wind pipe. The next few years had been a very arduous period for him because of the scarcity of nutrients and clothing. The examination of his intestines had shown that he had been eating only one meal a day, yet had been working under the scorching sun to keep his homes fires burning. He had been the sole breadwinner of the family and left no stone upturned to build a better world for his children to live in. His efforts had been to fulfill his obligations towards his children to make them able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The dietician of the panel has reported that he had been eating the inner part of the plantain trees as a vegetable with boiled manioc. There is also evidence to conclude that he had eaten a lot of freshwater fish curry and thus has survived while contributing to left politics as an ardent follower of MARXIST LENNINISM.   

Sleeplessly, at the age of around 41, he had been cutting trees and pasting posters. The writer was able to discover some vital details with regard to his disposition and in a diary page written in his own handwriting bears ample testimony that he had been a hardcore rebel and manufactured a kind of hand grenades with empty salmon cans. His dedication towards the cause of the proletariat revolution proves to be genuine. There are ample reasons to conclude that the unbearable work load that he has had to shoulder had weakened his physicality beyond mending. A part of his leg had been burnt on a tyre-pyre. Because of fast running to hide or to save his life a permanent burn scar was visible. During this time, he had suffered a lot and had been hiding in jungles to escape from the security forces. The surgical examinations had proved beyond reasonable doubt that he had been eating wild fruits and leaves for his survival. Some scars on his body, supposed to have been made from iron bars compel me to report that he had tried to break into prisons or escape from imprisonment. His life story reminds the writer of the protagonist in ‘LE MISERABLE’ and the prison scene in ‘THE PRINCE AND THE PAUPER’ written respectively by VICTOR HUGO and MARK TWAIN. He had tattooed on his chest, ‘Long live Castro’ just below it, a picture of CHE appeared. Yet, it was not clear. In a personal diary entry he had written to his children to carry the baton he had so far carried into the future till the proletariat revolution is realized in the motherland. His diary further says that he had taken part in each MAY DAY celebration in his life beginning at the age of eighteen. A subtle perusal of his diary proved to me that, in writing diary entries, he had surpassed even CRAB ROBINSON.   
The postmortem report prepared by the panel of forensic experts categorically states that the cause of death of this doomed worker is as follows:   

On the first of May,2017,a well-organized gang of thugs had been intimidating and assaulting Javith Perumage Leslie Unamperuma Singho since 2.30 until 10.30 p.m. continually. His testicles had been severely damaged by hitting hard with a heavy piece of a bell like thing. An old corroded key like thing had been put into the left ear and the ear drum had been acutely damaged. Internal hemorrhage had also contributed to his death. A heavy slap on the right ear with a hard hand has damaged the other ear drum. An elephant or a similar weight has been placed on his belly and the excreta scattered in the immediate vicinity shows another reason for the cruel death. A continual series of hammer attacks on the head had crushed the brain cells. The hands were tied at the back tightly and the gang had put a sickle like thing to his neck and pulled by a number of men. He had breathed his last around 10.30 p.m. It had been ordered at the magisterial inquiry to bury the body of the deceased at the Gunasinghepura public cemetery adjacent to the statue of the late reputed leader of the working class A.E. Gunasinghe. The dead body is subjected to be exhumed in case of any objection bythe leadersof the proletariat. Yet, the deceased was fortunate to be interned in this manner because FEDRICO GARCIA LORCA ,the twentieth century best playwright of Spain, was made to dig his own grave by the dictator-fascists and shot to death and dumped into the pit.
