Why did you not give your views on the 18th Amendment which was completely undemocratic and was passed with the sole intention of keeping MR in power ?

G.L. is right, 18th Amendment which was draft by him did not have any confusion due to it was simple way to create single dictator and all done and control under one person. when it comes to democratic way it make not good for you .you are the main man behind today all problems in the country if not we do not have to carry out this election and harry to change all thinks. at least now go home and retire from your dirty politics and let others to do their job G.L.

Vijitha that is why people voted against the previous government just because people wanted to change the constitution. Now these guys are worse than them with no vision and also with unconstitutional amendments.Pathetic or not?

His comments are well taken. But I cannot understand why this constitutional expert kept quiet when more harmful 18th amendment was introduced as an urgent bill. Now he behaves like a lion but he was a sleeping cat then. People will respect you if you were consistent.

Why not at least wait until the Supreme Court make the decision/s on the 18 petitions before it. Is this the Yasapalanaya we have now come expect! The legislators will be utterly negligent and irresponsible to consider and indeed pass such badly drafted legislation. This affects every single citizen of Sri Lanka. The government must give us an opportunity to be heard.

You are a politician and you like to object the will of the people by bringing law as an excuse by bringing one point or the other.People gave the mandate for MS to take in charge of these problems
