The Lakvijaya Coal Power plant (LCPP) at Norochcholai resumed power generation from yesterday, a Power and Energy Ministry spokesman said.
He said the LCPP which was renovated at a cost of Rs.690 million, had broken down again just ten days after resuming operations .
Meanwhile, Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said that the power supply would continue uninterrupted no matter what.
