Nearly 30,000 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests have been conducted in Sri Lanka as of May 5 with 1,396 tests conducted on Tuesday, the Health Promotion Bureau (HPB) said.
According to the statistics of the HPB, a total of 29,283 PCR tests have been conducted since February 18 as of May 5.
The statistics show that over 1,000 tests have been conducted daily from April 26 onwards and the highest number of PCR tests (1869) have been conducted on April 27.
