Toyota Lanka launches first ever 1000cc brand new car in Sri Lankan market

Toyota Lanka (Private) Limited, the sole authorized distributor for Toyota vehicles in Sri Lanka recently launched its very first 1000cc brand new vehicle to the Sri Lankan market. 
The Toyota Wigo was unveiled at the Ceylon Motor Show held at the BMICH. The Wigo, is Toyota Lanka’s very first entry in the 1000cc category since the company’s inception and subsequent establishment as a front runner in the Sri Lankan automobile industry. Introduced to serve a clear market need for a high-quality yet affordable, comfortable and safe, brand-new entry level car, the Wigo is designed with the modern family 
in mind.

The Wigo comes with a sleek exterior design, rear spoiler with integrated high-mounts top lamp and a chrome package that adds to the car’s visual appeal. The car though small is marketed as fun and easy to drive whether it is for a beginner or seasoned driver. The ‘Wigo’ gives an ample amount of legroom for the backseat passengers and also has a spacious rear luggage compartment. It also comes fully equipped with Radio/CD/MP3 with USB & Aux, power windows & door-locks, standard airbags and Anti-lock Breaking System. The vehicle runs on a 1L in-line 3 cylinder DOHC engine that guarantees high fuel efficiency and carries a 4-speed 
Automatic Transmission.
