Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director, Renault India Operations
Sri Lanka’s popular automobile brand, Renault, is celebrating one year in the country with over 3,500 units sold already.
Renault’s sole authorized agents in Sri Lanka, Associated Motorways (AMW) celebrated its anniversary with a special price offer, with discounts close to Rs. 200,000 during this period.
To mark this special occasion, Sumit Sawhney, Managing Director of Renault India Pvt Ltd, RafaelTreguer, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Naveen Mishra, Head of Exports, will visit Sri Lanka to meet with AMW’s management and operations team in relation to the brand. Sawhney has close to two decades of experience in the automotive sales industry, and this is his second visit to Sri Lanka after the launch of the Renault Kwid, which was held last year.
The Winner of the NDTV CNB Car of the Year and CNB Viewer’s Choice Car of the Year Awards in 2016, AMW sold over 3,000 KWIDs within just six months of introduction; becoming the fastest selling automobile in Sri Lanka. It is powered by a Smart Control efficiency (SCe) engine, best-in-class media systems, superior cabin space and 300 litres of boot space, making it the car of choice in its class for thousands of Sri Lankans.
The Renault KWID with its celebratory price offer can be viewed at the Main Showroom in Colombo and all AMW’s Pitstop outlets at Attidiya, Matara, Kandy, Anuradhapura and Malabe and the Automall showrooms at Malabe, Matara, Galle, Kandy, Negombo and Kurunegala open seven days
a week.
