Micro SsangYong Tivoli sets new trends in Sri Lankan SUV market

The highly stylized and sophisticated SsangYong Tivoli recently celebrated its one year anniversary in Sri Lanka. 
To celebrate the successful completion of its maiden year, Micro Cars, the only authorized assembler and distributor for SsangYong in Sri Lanka hosted all Tivoli owners and their families to a special event at the Viharamahadevi Park tagged,‘Tivoli @ the Park’. Since its introduction, SsangYong Tivoli has sold over 200 SUV’s in Sri Lanka and is now soon becoming a local as well as a global iconic vehicle. 
Commenting on this achievement Dr. Lawrence Perera, Chairman/ CEO, Micro Cars Limited said, “It was indeed a special occasion to celebrate this first milestone with the entire Tivoli family. Over the past year, Tivoli has had tremendous acceptance and growth in the Sri Lankan market. Over 120 Tivolians and their families arrived in their fashionable Tivoli’sto be a part of this special event. The breakfast event was a day filled with entertainment, fun games and activities for the entire family. Winners of the games and raffle draw were awarded with special giveaways and trophies.

The event also marked the launch of www.Micro-Ssangyong.com, a dedicated website for SsangYong product range offered and serviced by Micro Cars in Sri Lanka. The website enables a 360 degree view of all its products, product specifications, product reviews, Micro SsangYong event updates, after sales coverage and availability and live feedback for any customer inquiries. Post event Micro SsangYong recorded a 250% growth in web search and customer responses. Globally renowned Lubricant brand Motul Lubricants and Unilever Sri Lanka also partnered this special event.Unilever displayed the ‘Max Tivoli’ which is the main prize of their latest product campaign tagged ‘Un-buyable Tivoli’ making the vehicle displays even more colourful.
