The Pussycat Dolls were caught up in an awkward technical blunder on Wednesday night, during a live performance on BBC’s The One Show. The quintet were appearing on the evening magazine show to perform their new single React, but failed to realise their track had begun playing - missing their cues and standing on stage, backs turned.
The Pussycat Dolls were caught up in an awkward technical blunder on Wednesday night, during a live performance on BBC’s The One Show
The girl group - led by frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger, 41 - stood ready to go, facing away from the audience, when One Show host Matt Baker announced them. The music began, albeit at a low volume, and well into the first verse the ladies remained with their backs turned. The delay caused Jessica Sutta to turn and look at her fellow singers, all wondering what was happening. After a painfully long time, the track cut out - with Matt having to step in and re-introduce the group. The music then came on again, on full volume, and the performance was able to commence.
