The ward of the Teaching Hospital in Kalubowila, which was closed after a COVID-19 patient was identified, has been reopened after two weeks, Hospital Director Dr. Asela Gunewardena said today.
He said the staff members who came into contact with the patient have completed the quarantine period and returned to work today.
Subsequent to the identification of a COVID-19 patient at the Teaching Hospital in Kalubowila, 15 patients and 20 staff members who came into contact with him had to be moved to the quarantine.
