Two arrested over spreading false info on COVID-19

Two individuals have been arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) for spreading false information on Coronavirus via social media, Police said.

They said the suspects identified as residents of Bandaragama and Ragama.

    These people must be punished severely. Misuse of social media under any circumstance be dealt severely

    They will languish in a remand cell tonight. Tomorrow they will be produced in court and granted bail. Six month sentence will be a lot of bull shit.
