The Fort Magistrate today imposed a travel ban on former minister Ravi Karunanayake, Perpetual Treasuries Ltd (PTL) owner Arjun Aloysius and 10 others in connection with the bond scam.
The Magistrate said the decision to issue arrest warrants on them would be taken on March 6.
Attorney General Dappula de Livera yesterday directed that warrants be obtained to arrest them in connection with offences committed under the Public Property Act, the Penal Code and the Registered Stock and Securities Ordinance. (Yoshitha Perera)
