Southern Province Governor resigns

Southern Province Governor Keerthi Thennakoon had reportedly tendered his resignation to President Maithripala Sirisena.

He was appointed as the Governor of Southern Province early this year.

Central Province governor Maithri Gunaratne and Uva Province Governor Marshal Perera had also handed over their resignations to the President.

    They will be re-appointed after SLFP/Potuwa alliance is finalized. Pathetic to see none of them are concerned about the public

    Country does not require this type of unnecessary expenditure to employ some of whom are unemployable.
