The Supreme Court directed today the Special High Court to stop hearing further evidence over the D.A. Rajapaksa Museum case till the Supreme Court decided on the appeal made by the Defence over the Jurisdiction of the Special High Court to hear it.
The Supreme Court will take up the appeal again on October 1, 2019.

It was the CJ who okayed the Special HC to hear the case. Now his ruling is challenged. Hereafter it will be good for at least 5 Justices to decide when AG request a special court and that will save Court time for SC as well as HC
