Sri Lankans are preparing to celebrate Vesak which falls over the weekend. Despite the security concerns, people are seen purchasing Vesak decorations from stalls set up at roadsides in Colombo. This year Vesak festival in Sri Lanka is being celebrated on a low-key with additional security provided following the recent suicide bomb attacks at churches and hotels on Easter Sunday.
