Pujith, Hemasiri further remanded

Former IGP Pujith Jayasundera and former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando were further remanded until February 3 by Colombo Additional Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage today.

Earlier, IGP Jayasundera and Mr. Fernando were charged over their failure to prevent the Easter Sunday attacks by the Attorney General (AG). (Yoshitha Perera)

    These are ludicrous charges as they are only pointed at these two individuals. How about the CID, National Intelligence, Army Intelligence, all of them were “sleeping” while the Muslims were planning the bombing campaign.
