Health Services Director General Anil Jasinghe said there have been limited contacts of the COVID-19 infected nurse at the Colombo National Hospital as she and the Hospital had followed proper health practices.
He said it was good news as otherwise it would have been serious to identify a staff member of a major hospital like NSC.
Dr Jasinghe said the identified contacts of the nurse had also been sent on quarantine.

How can the DG Health Services give this assurance to the public without doing PCR tests on all who came into contact with the nurse and confirming they have not contacted the virus?
