Former Sports Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage said today he submitted the police a six-page document relevant to the statement he made over match-fixing.

He told a news conference in Nawalapitiya that the police recorded a statement from him at the Mahindananda Foundation in Nawalapitiya.

He said he was a spectator of the 2011 World Cup final match and that he felt suspicious while watching the match.

"After I returned to Sri Lanka, people who came to meet me requested me to conduct an investigation over the incident. I made a complaint to the ICC on October 30, 2011 as the Sports Minister,' he said. (Ranjith Rajapaksa)

He is still talking. Why is he still talking? He needs to know when to shut up. Next will be the press conference saying media blew it out of proportion.

Why this bloke did not raise this issue for the past 9 years? His popularity in his electorate has take a nose dive and this is his drama to gain votes. The voters should take notice of this and he should be ousted and sent back home. He fraudulently made money on carom board deal.

This Joker has he ever spoken the truth? Will he now, they will twist and turn the whole matter and sling mud at others. It's a political carnival only. The ICC must investigate his remarks.
