Kala Oya at spill level: People asked to evacuate

The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) today warned people living along the banks of Kala Oya to evacuate as it had reached spill level.

DMC Deputy Director Pradeep Kodippili said residents of Ipalogama, Thabuttegama, Galnewa and Thalawa have been asked to temporarily move out to safer areas.
