Former Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) President Jayantha Dharmadasa was today appointed to the Vice President position at SLC left vacant following the resignation of K. Mathivanan.
Mathivanan resigned from his position last morning, alleging that the current SLC administration was carrying out its duties without “transparency and integrity.”
SLC called for an emergency Executive Committee meeting this afternoon and unanimously appointed Dharmadasa as his successor. (Shehan Daniel)

Don't we have some good people to run this institution for the benefit of our country. Why do we have to stand these people who have done nothing but looting the cricket body. It appears that they are too powerful with their corrupt money.

Besides Sumathipala's , Dharmadasa's or Ranatunga's , there isnt anyone else to run cricket in Srilanka.

The system must be changed and new provision must be made that to be elected to CLC Exco one has to be a National cricketer who has represented the country at least once in one format Tests, One days or 20/20
