Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said today he had been called to appear before the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) probing the Easter Sunday attacks.
He said this in Parliament during arguments on the PSC.
“I like to discuss the PSC as one who has been called to testify before it. However we need to carry on with the business in the House,” the Prime Minister said.
He said the ruling given by the Speaker on the PSC and on the letter sent to the President by the Attorney General should be accepted by the MPs. “ We don’t have any issues with the ruling that have been given by the Speaker on the AG’s letter,” the Prime Minister said.
Meanwhile, a PSC member told Daily Mirror that the Prime Minister has been called to testify but the date had not been fixed yet. (Yohan Perera and Ajith Siriwardana)

Like the Bond Scam - A PM friendly PSC. Who's fooling whom? We are a set of cowards and being punished by 225 crooks. Serves us right for being cowards.
