Four individuals who had exploded pieces of explosives at Ilavalai in Jaffna were arrested last night, the Police said.
They said the suspects had recovered some explosives when clearing a land and were injured when they set them on fire. They were admitted to the Jaffna Hospital with injuries.
The Police suspect that the explosives may have been abandoned by the LTTE during the war. (Sithum Chaturange)
