First COVID-19 death reported in SL

A 60-year-old COVID-19 patient from Marawila who was undergoing treatment at the Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH), Angoda, has passed away today, the Health Ministry said. It was reported that the patient was a diabetic who had undergone a kidney transplant.

    RIB, Our prayer is no more death taken place in this Country and rest of this world. We have to follow health advise of Government. We have to be at home until this Government take off curfew.

    This is the breaking point. If we give up now, we will be soon following Italy. Lets follow the restrictions to the letter. Island-wide Curfew must be extended throughout April.
