The three-member expert committee appointed by President Maithripala Sirisena to look into Easter Sunday's suicide bomb attacks is to submit its report to President Maithripala Sirisena next Monday.
MP Thilanga Sumathipala, told reporters that the next course of action to combat extremist Islamic terrorism would be taken after studying the proposals and recommendations of the committee.
The three member committee chaired by Supreme Court judge Vijith Malalgoda and comprising former IGP N.K. Illangakoon and Former Law and Order Ministry Secretary Padmasiri Jayamanne was appointed on April 22.
The President had instructed the committee to investigate what led to the tragedy that destroyed so many lives. (Sandun A Jayasekera)
