All Day-Care Centres which had been closed due to COVID-19 pandemic in the country, have been allowed to re-open from July 6, Health Services Director General Anil Jasinghe said.
The centres which have been opened already can only accommodate 75% of the original capacity however, will be allowed to accommodate 100% of the centres’ children from July 6 onwards.
However, it has been advised that maintaining health guidelines will be made mandatory at all Day-Care Centers, Dr Jasinghe said. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
