The Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday filed a written complaint to the International Cricket Council (ICC) regarding the aircraft that flew over the Headingley cricket ground during India's ICC World Cup 2019 match with Sri Lanka at Leeds.

The cricket board has expressed concern regarding the security of its players and requested the apex body to ensure no such incident is repeated again.

During India's final league match of the ongoing cricket world cup with Sri Lanka on Saturday, an aircraft flew over the Headingley stadium, Leeds with a banner tied to its back reading "Justice For Kashmir".

Half an hour later a similar looking aircraft flew over the stadium and had a banner reading "India Stop Genocide, Free Kashmir". Later in the match, a third aircraft with a banner reading "Help End Mob Lynching" flew over the cricket ground.

It's the same for Sri Lanka! LTTE supporters with flags etc protest outside grounds of many Sri Lanka matches with anti-Sri Lanka slogans. There have been instances where Sri Lankan fans have been beaten up.
