Four special SriLankan Airlines aircraft carrying 91 Sri Lankans stranded in three countries due to COVID-19, landed at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake this morning, Airport Duty Manager said.
He said the first flight (QR-668) from Doha, landed at 01.45 with 21 Sri Lankans stranded in Qatar.
"The second flight (UL-226) landed at 03.10 with one Sri Lankan passenger from Abu Dhabi. The third flight (UL-102) landed at 09.45 with 61 Sri Lankans stranded in the Maldives and the fourth flight (Q-26940) landed at the BIA at 10.45 with eight Sri Lankans also from the Maldives," he said.
Upon their arrival at the Airport, all were taken to the PCR tests. (T.K.G Kapila)

Why only 21 from Doha? There are many more Sri Lankans stranded there.
