17 district development committee chairpersons appointed

Seventeen chairpersons who were appointed for district development committees by President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa received their appointment letters at the Presidential Secretariat this afternoon, Presidential Media Division said.

The New District Development Committee Chairpersons are as follows:

Wijayadasa Rajapakshe Colombo District
Sudarshani Fernandopulle Gampaha District
Piyal Nishantha Kalutara District
Sarath Amunugama Kandy District
Lakshman Wasantha Perera Matale District
Muttu Sivalingam Nuwara Eliya District
Chandima Weerakkody Galle District
Niroshan Premaratne Matara District
Angajan Ramanathan Jaffna District
Cadar Mastan Mannar District
S. Viyalendran Batticaloa District
Shriyani Wijewickrame Ampara District
Weerakumara Dissanayake Anuradhapura District
Thenuka Vidanagamage Badulla District
Sarathi Dushmantha Kegalle District
