A total of 150 Sri Lankans, who were stranded in Malaysia due to the Corona-19 pandemic has arrived in the country this morning at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), the airport duty manager said.
He said the SriLankan Airlines flight UL-319 from Kuala Lumpur arrived at Katunayake at 8. 52 a.m.
Upon their arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, all passengers were taken to the PCR tests, the duty manager added. (T.K.G Kapila)

Most of these people who say they are standard our people who have had no proper documents and living over there on the sly. If they had a sponsor then they should take responsibility for their safe return

Whether they had proper documents while overseas is not an issue. They are Sri Lankan citizens and they have every right to come back home.
