Microsoft recently hosted a supplier communication and compliance awareness session to educate and update suppliers the company frequently engages with, on the company code of conduct expectations.
Microsoft is committed to ensuring trust and protection in compliance with suppliers and their employees, agents and subcontractors.
Valued suppliers attended the compliance briefing at the Microsoft Sri Lanka office. The session was conducted by Microsoft Senior Procurement Engagement Manager Indonesia, Malaysia, Southeast Asia New Markets Jacqueline Koh, while Microsoft Country Manager for Sri Lanka and Maldives Brian Kealey delivered the keynote.
“As digital transformation takes over, more companies are moving to the cloud and licensing agreements are lost in translation. By equipping valued suppliers with the right knowledge on compliance, we, at Microsoft, hope to influence a wide network, ensuring the digital transformation happens ethically and within the company’s affirmations,” said Kealey.
