Ten police officers who carried out an operation to arrest a burglar in Bopitiya were asked to self-quarantine after the suspect was confirmed to have tested positive for coronavirus, Wattala Municipal Council PHI Varuna Amarasekara said. 

The 28-year-old suspect was arrested for robbing a house owned by a Wattala Pradeshiya Sabha member last Saturday. 
The suspect had been handed over to the police after being caught by residents in the area. He had later been admitted to the Ragama Hospital.
