Taken into custody from his house at Katupotha

National Thowheed Jama’at (NTJ) leader Zahran Hashim’s brother-in-law was arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) on Monday, Police said.
They said the suspect was taken into custody while he was at his home in Katupotha following a tip off.
Police said 28-year-old suspect Abdul Kader Asim had undergone weapons training in Nuwara Eliya along with Mohamed Zahran.
