Mother found hanged with son in Balangoda

A woman aged 26 and her five-year-old son were found hanging at their residence in Kapuwatta in Balangoda yesterday afternoon.
The Balangoda Police, after being alerted by the public, visited the house to find the bodies hanging from the roof.

The Police Media Unit said the incident was being investigated by the Balangoda Police, who were investigating as to whether it was a murder or a suicide.
The names of the victims were yet to be revealed by the police at the time this edition went to press last night.
