Fifty six fresh complaints against the Obstetrician and Gynecologist Dr Shihabdeen Mohamed Safi were received at the Kurunegala Teaching Hospital yesterday (28) from women, informed a spokesperson of the Teaching Hospital.
With these recent complaints the number of complaints received as at yesterday reached 112. On 27th Monday five complaints had been received, followed by another fifty one and fifty six complaints were received yesterday. The complaints received against Dr Shihabdeen Mohamed Safi yesterday were from women in Kurunegala, Mawathagama, Dambulla, Galewela, Alawwa, Narammala and Polgahawela areas.
The spokesperson said further that a decision regarding these complaints was to be taken today (29).
