At least nine persons were injured while a house and other property extensively damaged during a clash between two groups at Selvanagar in Kilinochchi on Wednesday evening (29). The injured were admitted to Kilinochchi hospital.
Police said an altercation between two individuals had led to the clash and that six women and three men were injured. They said a house including household effects and a motorcycle had been set on fire. Kilinochchi police are conducting further investigations to arrest those involved in the clash.
