The Prime Minister’s Office yesterday denied media reports that someone attached to it assisted the person who was allegedly involved in the forgery of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s signature to prepare fake documents. A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office said inquiries were made from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). The statement said the CID denied the involvement of anyone from the Prime Minister’s Office.
