The Election Commission will announce the preferential numbers of the candidates contesting the parliamentary elections only after the Supreme Court gives its ruling on the Fundamental Rights Applications filed against taking polls on June 20, informed sources said yesterday.
The Court will hear the petitions next week. According to the sources, the Commission is planning to gazette the preferential numbers of the candidates in the fray by May 20 depending on the court ruling.
