A special SriLankan Airlines flight carrying 230 Sri Lankans stranded in Bangladesh due to Covid-19, arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake last evening.
Upon their arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, all passengers were subjected to PCR tests.
Meanwhile, 17 more Covid-19 infected patients had recovered and discharged from hospitals yesterday increasing the total number of recovered patients in Sri Lanka to 1619, the Health Ministry said.
The ministry said 380 patients are still under medical care in hospitals.
